Much Needed Vaca…

One week to go until our much need vacation. The days go by so slow. Three days left. Then the biggest snowstorm to hit Philadelphia barrels in. Great! My awesome uncle drives us to New Jersey the next night, but when we get there we realize I don’t have my passport. Haha! Back to PA then NJ again. Finally on the plane. Next stop Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Staying at the beautiful Riu Palace! On this wonderful trip we had the opportunity to go whale watching. This is a hot spot for mother Humpback whales to teach their young how to swim, dive, eat, and have fun.  We headed to a beach that had two names. On the Sea of Cortez side it was called Lovers Beach, and the Pacific side was called Divorce Beach. I believe the titles came from the rough ocean and the calm sea. The sea lions smelled really bad but knew how to pose for the camera. Oo yea how can I forget we met a horse named Chronic. Haha! If you end up going to Cabo, the marina is a cool spot in town to check out. I recommend buying art from a store in the mall called 100% Mexico.  So this is part 1 of 2 for images more to come soon.

10,000 leagues under Camden…

Ali and I took advantage of a sweet deal on adventure aqurium tickets and spent the day there. We hung out with sharks, hippos, salt and freshwater fish. We also had the chance to touch sharks and stingrays! It was a very fun day and hope to do it again.

Apples, Pumpkins, and Pies oo my…!

Three years ago Ali and I have started a Linvilla tradition (as have most who live in the area). On this day we pick our over-sized over the top pumpkins, get lost in the huge corn maze, weave our way thru the massive amount of people waiting for all that delicious food. Then hop in the pie line and grab some hot pies and apple cider. I think this is my favorite day of the year!

Meet Molly…

June 4th 2009 Molly was brought into this world. 8 weeks later she ended up in our lives. She is the sweetest, playful, little kitten as they always are. Or are they?!  During the day she runs through the apartment jumping on everything insight with her favorite toy tightly gripped in her mouth.  At night she tortures us to sleep by pouncing on our feet that are under the covers, and come 3 or 4 am she paws me gently in the face with a faint but desperate meow. What could this mean?  She’s hungry? Somethings wrong? I rolled on to her and she is stuck? No just pet me or be up all night as I found out last night! Then again who cares she is a princess and gets what she wants when she wants.

RC Jr…

So for those of you who do not know my brother had a baby a year ago. Since then we have watched him grow, speak and now walk(TROUBLE!!). He already knows how to get what he wants when he wants, does not like baths, and never likes to stop moving. On that note I would like to say and I think this goes for his grandparents, mom & dad, everyone in the family, and his favorite uncle in the whole world ME ha that we would want nothing in him to be different. He is the coolest kid ever. This is Robert Jr!

Phun in Philly…

Another fun filled day in Philly! Well most of it but we’ll get back to that. This time my beautiful model/girlfriend and I decided to head to Northern Liberties and the South street. area due to the really sweet spots you can find there, but that’s all I’m going to tell you ;) . In Northern Lib area we came across a large abandoned warehouse that was made entirely of this deep red brick with deep red doors, and some graffiti which made for killer images. Next we moved to that other location in the South street area and found some really sweat walls designed by  Isaiah Zagar. Then….! Out of nowhere I was struck in the head by a large fire hydrant which “cut” my day short due to the blood rushing down my face. Nice one Gabe!  But I still had a good time and made some really cool images!

Midsummer Night…

What a shoot!!

Lately I have been noticing the not so noticeable, beautiful night lights around Philadelphia and decided to use that to my advantage.  Luckly for me I have a wonderful and smokin’ hot model/girlfriend who is always up for a photoshoot. On this midsummer night it was perfect, not too hot not too muggy, just perfect.  I cannot wait to do this again!  Be sure to look for more in later posts
